You are introduced to Labs standards, expectations, and how professional work is evaluated. You are then assigned your first project brief, a real-world task that mirrors what clients and employers actually ask for in your track.
You work on your brief with access to structured mentor check-ins and peer review sessions. Your work is reviewed against professional standards, not just whether it is done, but whether it is done well. Feedback is specific and actionable.
Your completed project is evaluated by a mentor. Work that meets the standard gets added to your official TechNuVate portfolio. The best performers across all tracks are flagged for deployment on Studio client projects.
Labs has three entry paths. One is open to any digital talent who wants real project work. One is a structured industrial training placement for Nigerian university students. And one is earned by being among the best in your Academy cohort.
If you finish in the top 5 graduates of your Academy track, you earn a completely free spot in TechNuVate Labs. No application needed, it is recognition for exceptional performance during the course.
For Nigerian university students who need to complete their school-mandated industrial training. TechNuVate places you in a structured digital skills programme, supports your documentation, and coordinates with your institution.
The Professional Track is open to anyone, whether you trained with TechNuVate Academy or learned your skill elsewhere. If you have a digital skill and want a structured environment to build a real portfolio and get professionally evaluated, Labs is for you. The fee is kept deliberately low to stay accessible.

If you are a university or polytechnic student in your industrial training (IT) period, TechNuVate Labs gives you a placement that actually means something. Do your entire IT from the comfort of your state. No relocation. No transport stress. No feeding allowance to worry about. Just real digital work matched to your course, a mentor guiding you through it, and a properly stamped and signed logbook at the end.
Students currently in their IT period at university or polytechnic level, studying any course that allows you to complete an internship in a digital, creative, or business environment. This includes Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Accounting, Journalism, Computer Science, and any other course whose IT requirements can be fulfilled through digital skills training and real project work.

A TechNuVate Labs completion letter for your IT supervisor, a portfolio of real work you completed during your placement, and a professional reference you can use as you start your career.
We are currently accepting IT placement students from Rivers State, Bayelsa State, Abia State and Akwa Ibom State.
At the end of your placement, you will waybill your completed logbook to our Port Harcourt office. We sign, stamp, and return it to you. All waybill costs are handled by the student.
If you are from another state not listed above and you are open to handling the logistics yourself, you are welcome to reach out and we will take it from there.
