TechNuVate tutors are working professionals and skilled individuals who give their time to teach, mentor, and pass on what they know to the next generation of African digital talent. This is a volunteer role. No salary. But what you build here goes further than money.
TechNuVate tutors are not paid employees. There is no salary, stipend or compensation attached to this role at this stage of our growth. You are giving your time and expertise because you believe in building something that matters for African talent. We want to be completely clear about that before you apply, so that everyone who comes in does so with the right expectations.
As a TechNuVate tutor, you deliver live sessions, review student work, and give feedback that helps people grow. You do not need to build a curriculum from scratch. We give you a structure and you bring it to life.
Run online classes for your assigned cohort. Sessions are scheduled in advance and agreed around your availability.
Go through student submissions, give structured feedback, and flag students who are performing exceptionally or struggling.
Be available for questions between sessions. You are not just a teacher. You are someone students can learn from on how to think and work professionally.
Your experience in the field helps us keep what we teach current and relevant. Your feedback on what students need more of shapes the next cohort.
We are looking for tutors across all our active Academy tracks. If you have real-world experience in any of these areas, we want to hear from you.
You do not need a teaching degree. You need to know your craft, communicate clearly, and genuinely care about helping people grow.
You are currently working in a digital field. You know what the industry actually looks like and you can teach from experience, not theory.
If you went through Academy, built your skills, and are now doing the work, you are exactly the kind of person who can show others how it is done.
You live outside Nigeria or Africa but you want to give something back. Teaching remotely for TechNuVate is one of the most direct ways to do that.
